I believe in and have personally experienced the glorious stages of Pregnancy, Labour and Birth these significant phases in a women’s life are both transformational and empowering.
As your maternity consultant and birth worker I will stand by you to advocate and facilitate this birthing empowerment, that is when a woman has the fullest opportunity to make her own maternity and birthing choices throughout every phase of this precious journey.
When a pregnant woman feels safe and heard there lies a unique opportunity for her to fully experience the natural physiological changes occurring to her body and mind, when she allows the full flow of feeling and emotions she is saying ‘yes’ to her very being and consequently releases an abundant tide of endorphins and inner strengths, she is able to access her instinctive nature.
This fully connected pregnancy, labour and birth through to the all-important postpartum period is intrinsically linked to the physical and mental wellbeing of both the Newborn Mum and her baby.
